Update 2

Feature

· build 2026.10.07-8c2de56

The Deep Space Array now stands in the foothills, its holographic Earth showing how quickly test transactions from around the world are confirmed. The colony also gains Scenic views with mission photos, the marks of neighbouring chains over the drifting rocks, and a Settings screen with a sound mixer and an always-daylight mode.

New

The Deep Space Array

Everyone

An instrument platform with a holographic Earth now stands in the foothills below the mountains. Each ground-station marker is a probe somewhere in the world that sends test transactions to the chain, coloured by how often they are confirmed in the very next block. Click the platform for each hour's figures, a node-by-hour chart and the transactions themselves.

The Deep Space Array panel open beside the holographic Earth, with next-block share, confirmation times and an hourly chart for each node.

Scenic views and mission photos

Everyone

A new Scenic views menu flies the camera to the Cargo concourse, the Command centre, the Colony perimeter, the Plausible Relay, the Deep Space Array or the hydroponics robot. Save a mission photo of the scene in a mission-photo frame with the scene's coordinates.

Neighbouring colonies

Everyone

Each big drifting rock now carries the mark of another layer-1 chain, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana or Cardano. Now and then a courier ship flies from one of them to command for a post-quantum signature. They are decoration only, with no chain data behind them, and you can hide them in Settings.

Settings, a sound mixer and daylight

Everyone

A new Settings screen, in the top bar and the phone menu, keeps your choices on this device. Set the overall volume and the levels of ambience, effects, interface sounds and music separately. You can also keep the colony lit as by day while the day plays on as usual. Ambience starts at half volume for new visitors and after Reset to defaults.

A livelier colony

Everyone

A chosen station's landing-pad lights chase around it, docking lights switch on as you fly near, maintenance bots stop by to inspect it, and fast drones leave engine streaks. Vents and lights keep moving while the day is paused. Hover a station to see how busy the network is this hour. The bots and the occasional passing survey ship are decoration and never stand for transactions.

Builds and gentle updates

Everyone

The loading card and Settings now show which build of the console you are running. When an update is ready, a notice counts down to a restart, or you can restart at once. You keep your place, the hour and any half-written question to the Colony AI.

Changes

The Plausible Relay on the map

Everyone

The Plausible Relay's pad now has a marker on the minimap; click it to fly there. Its panel now has a chart of settlements over the last 90 days with the chosen day highlighted, and swarms of self-paid drones now show up as their own crowd.

The Colony AI answers as it writes

Everyone

The Colony AI's answers now appear as it writes them, rather than all at the end. Chain terms are now explained in parentheses, and the colony's name in the top bar is no longer cut off on wide screens while the chat is open.

Cleaner sounds

Everyone

The colony's recorded ambience and effects have been rebuilt from the original recordings instead of compressed copies, and several now start cleanly instead of with a short garble.
